Firedome is an IoT privacy, security and insights platform that helps IoT device brands grow revenue by resolving consumer privacy and security concerns. We offer both continuous cyber protection and actionable marketing insights, enabling brands to both mitigate the consumer's risks and reinforce the value of the protection with app or email insights.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Java Engineer to develop our IoT Security Platform that will run on multiple embedded devices across the world.

You will be in charge of:

  • The company’s backend applications, including technical design, development, and maintenance.
  • Building and maintaining a scalable service that interacts with millions of devices across the world.
  • Designing and building scalable data solutions for storing and efficiently analyzing big data.

Our technological stack includes:

  • Java Spring Boot and Golang services;
  • React.js, HTML and CSS;
  • Databases: MongoDB, Elasticsearch, AeroSpike, BigQuery, MySQL;
  • Google Cloud Platform services.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of back-end development experience;
  • Knowledges of SQL and NoSQL databases;
  • Experience with one of the leading cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure;
  • Good spoken English, we use it every day!

Advantages:

  • At least 1 year of experience in React.js or Angular;
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes;
  • Using Docker containers and Kubernetes;
  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teammates;
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture;
  • BSc. Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
